shannin_A very successful day was had by all competing at the Northern Regional Development Show at the Black Isle Show Ground. Shannin Cook and 3yr Highland Pony old Alice of Cambie took a very respectable 3rd place in the In-hand Tack and Turnout class.

This was a great result for Shannin who hads spend many hours bathing and grooming Alice to turn her out looking her best. Well done Shannin.

It was also a good day for Phoebe Rainy Brown who took a 1st place in the Ridden Highland Pony class with Tess. This was only Tess 2nd outing under saddle so it was a fantastic achievement. Pheobe also went on to win a 1st in the ridden Coloured Horse class with her own pony Bentleys Dream Catcher.

The other Raniy Brown children ere also battling it out on the show field as Honor and Bryce were both riding in the Mountain and Moorland section. It was to be Bryce’s day though as he and Alfie took the 1st place and a very respectable 2nd Place for Honor and Ben.
