About Us

Kingussie Camping was founded in July 2021 on Croila Croft at Kingussie. The Ormiston Family have been in Badenoch for 150 years and are best known for breeding Highland Ponies and for Pony Trekking.

We are a new Motor Caravanners Club Certified Location Site as well as a Highland Council approved Aire / Airigh with Motorhome Service Point. We offer 5 x MCC CL pitches on grass as well as 11 x Aire Overnight Parking pitches on hard standing.

We also have a “summer pop-up campsite” that takes tents, motorhomes and caravans down by the River Spey in a seperate field about 500m away. This is only open in peak season in the summer.

We share our address and premises with the Highland Horse Fun Stables on a working small farm right at the heart of Croila Croft, on the edge of Kingussie next to the Railway Station – PH21 1ER
